Burrito Alegre in Alsip

I love this place, authentic Mexican food. Steam lamb tacos with traditional soup. Very delicious like in Hidalgo state. The flavors are good I recommend this place you can drive long distance but it’s worthy. I guess some specialities just on weekends

Definitely the best restaurant around. I've been coming here almost everyday for the past year, the food is amazing, there is nothing on the menu that I did not enjoy. the service is great, and the prices are unbeatable for the amount of food you receive. you will not be disappointed at this place.

My husband and I used to visit this place years ago when we were on a budget because the food was delicious. As time passed and we could afford other places we kept on coming back because we realized they have a unique flavor. I took my father in-law from California there and he loved it as well. We think the way they cook make it as legit as the origins of the very traditional Mexican food. It has a taste that take you back to our small towns, to granny’s kitchen and her food which we used to enjoy surrounded by family.

The prices on the website are not a reflection of prices in the restaurant. I paid $2 more for a burrito than the website indicates.I drove 10 minutes out my way for the cheaper price!

The food presentation was amazing. Everything was very intricate and well decorated.

everything was wonderful--the service, the food and ambiance were all so cozy. the food isn't overly pretentious, something about it is very right. not too light, not too heavy. the bread!

The food is marvelous! The restaurant is fairly small when it comes to seating, but most of the time it seems people order for take out. I eat there everyday because the food is just so top notch it makes you want to come back for more. The workers are kind and always provide great service. The pricing is fairly cheap since you get so much food on the platter. The food will never disappoint, in fact, it'll make you feel like a winner. KACHOW!

Food is amazing! And cheap...came here once 7 years ago and loved it, rode the L and a bus for an hour and a half from downtown just to come back...5 stars is not enough!

Girl that was working didn't know what she was doing! The place has too many plants and there not trimmed . like a jungle. Parking Lot real messy garbage all over!

Reasonable pricing and their chorizo and egg torta was very good.Also young lady at counter greets you with a smile will be going back definitely!

This place is delicious. One of the best Al Pastor I have eaten. Hit it up for lunch after a meeting nearby. Salsa was bomb, burrito was delicious, and the steak taco was awesome. Highly recommend. Wish I had more meetings down that way. Great portion size for the money, too.

The food there is top notch

The breaded steak tortas are the best! Tacos are fresh and served hot. Salsas are delicious especially the green salsa. Friendly atmosphere! This place is phenomenal.

This place is decent for a quick bite.

Their $2 steak tacos are out doing all other $2 steak tacos nearby as well higher priced steak tacos. Only one piece of chewy fat, not the squishy fat like the $2.75 tacos at La Saspara. I am a very picky eater. I hate fat. I was quite suprised as I assumed that their tacos would be over 50 percent fat like El Gallo tapatio ll steak tacos did. My god! . . . the memories. 5 stars for suprising me with some delicious tacos. My Puerto Rican wife loves them.

I adore this place! They provide excellent food, their menu is nice, The chef in that restaurant is very experienced, I enjoy very much tasting all their food. The dishes are always tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is very good too. I go often to this place and I was never discontended. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Best Mexican foon in chicago in my opinion. Always good food never a miss. Especially I want to point out the best tortas there are. Have been visiting this place for years and its absolute hidden gem.

got here to pick up my order she said oh i've been tryin to call you to tell you i don't have chips for your nachos 20 min after i placed my order the older lady a joke learn how to run your business

Im Speechless so today i decided to come to this restaurant that 2 Hours away from my place and you mean to tell me no steak?? this happened around 12 at Noon so you open up a place and less then 3 hours your out of steak This place is a Joke Been coming here for Years never experienced this👎 Fix your selves get everything situated before opening.

Place is small but good Mexican food

The place can be missed since it looks like a place store not a restaurant.I when the 1st time the food was Good but the 2nd time it was horrible the meat had a funny taste and it was hard like they had it made and did not sold it the previous fDay and just reheated.
